Who will your consultation be with?
The clinical lead, Dr Achmed Kamara, qualified at the University of Cambridge in 2004. He has extensive experience, after doing specialist training in Academic Respiratory Medicine, and working as a senior hospital doctor in Cardiology, Geriatric Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrine, Accident and Emergency, Intensive Care Medicine.
He later trained to be a General Practitioner at King’s College London, alongside completing a Master’s Degree in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and specialist qualifications in Sexual & Reproductive Health and Child Health. He continues to spend some of his time as an NHS GP as he feels this is a way of contributing to the system that made him the excellent doctor that he is today.
